Top Magazine Minutes: Chinese Concentration Camps

Silence. All that we have seen from the world is silence. Silence towards millions of Uyghur Muslims being detained in concentration camps by the Chinese government. Women, men, children alike all because of their culture, religion, are being tortured, killed in hopes of silencing them. World leaders have been silent, the media has been silent, no one dares to speak up. 1.8 million are expected to be in these camps right now, China’s end goal is to have 3 million Uyghur’s in the camps. Documents of China’s plans have been released, solid evidence has been released. There is no reason to turn a blind eye when the proof is right there, people are suffering, dying, being restricted from practicing their religion. Their lives are not lower than other issues going on, they are people, people that are deserving of help, people that desperately cry for help. The attitude of not being able to do anything never helps, people can always help, awareness is the best way to make a difference. Knowledge empowers all, make people aware of this situation, tell those you know to raise their voice and protest this atrocity. The Uyghur Muslims are looking to the world for help, we can not stay silent.
