I no longer choose to mourn for the world
Because mourning can only do so much
Don't get it twisted
I feel for every broken, hurt and wrongfully treated being in this world
But what happens after I mourn?
Will police brutality come to an end?
Famine in Yemen will disappear?
People will start treating others fairly?
Or will men finally understand that NO means NO?
I no longer choose to mourn for this world
Because there is so much wrong with this world
So much that mourning can only do so much
I don't know where we went wrong
But it's time we make it right
Fix the ruckus
Repair the damage
Whatever it is just make it right
If we leave the world the way it is now
With no changes made
Then how's it going to be 10 years from now?
Only worse I suppose
So I no longer choose to mourn for this world
I've decided to make a change
To act instead of feel
To understand our problems
and try to succour our issues
In any way possible for the sake of this world
So from now on I no longer choose to mourn for the world
Instead, I choose to take action
and help solve whatever issues occur
